My name is Lucas Vieira and I am a Software Engineer currently based in the United Kingdom.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (2023).

From 2016 to 2021, I ran a science communication project in Brazil called SciencePub that promoted science talks at bars and pubs. It also had a YouTube channel and a podcast as spinoffs. I’m also involved with Sama (Maranhão Astronomy Society) and a few other scicomm projects.
